There is a moment that happens in every Conga Kids classroom.

It usually begins with hesitation.

A student stands quietly in the back of the room. They avoid eye contact. They are unsure of themselves and afraid of making a mistake. Maybe they struggle in school. Maybe they have experienced challenges at home. Maybe they simply don't believe they have anything special to offer.

Then the music begins.

A drumbeat fills the room. Feet begin to move. Hands clap together. Classmates encourage one another. For the first time in a long time, that child smiles.

At Conga Kids, we believe every child has an incredible potential waiting to be discovered. Through dance, music, movement, and sports, students don't simply learn choreography—they learn confidence. They develop teamwork, resilience, discipline, creativity, and respect for themselves and others.

For more than one decade, Conga Kids has served tens of thousands of children across Southern California, partnering with schools to provide high-quality arts and movement education where it is needed most. Many of these students attend schools where arts education has been reduced or eliminated because of limited funding.

For these children, Conga Kids is often their first opportunity to perform on a stage, work together toward a common goal, or discover a talent they never knew they had.
